Bottle at home. Black body with a medium brown head. Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, oak, whiskey notes, maple syrup, bourbon. Smooth and slick. Oily texture. Great. Dr_MedievAle (214) - Alabama, USA - JUL 9, 2016
Smells of malted milk balls (Whoppers) and slightly of sour milk. Tastes like it smells. Mouthfeel is thin to oily with a medium body. Maybe this bottle went bad or was somehow infected, because I’d heard praise of this beer that does not comport with my experience.

This is really good but it’s not blowing me away. Very rich and powerful. Yet smooth and drinkable. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - JUN 15, 2016

Very good. chinchill (5071) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 2, 2016
Large shared bottle.
Fine looking beer that looks, and is, quite thick. Essentially black and opaque body with a decent head.
Strong, rich flavor.
Very full body, but not as viscous as the CCB Hunaphu I had just minutes before. copestx (227) - Vesterbro, DENMARK - APR 27, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 8, 2016 Bottle from 2012 (rating from memory). Shared with Herr Angstmann. Best at cellar temperature, so a bit colder than room temp, but I guess that’s true with most good beers. Pours thick motor oily black deliciousness. Molasses, tobacco, dulce de leche, coffee, dark chocolate and more. Alcohol is insanely well hidden considering the 13%. At the time my favorite imperial stout to date, and a few years later it is still up there. I can’t wait to try this again (if I ever get the chance).
Finally had it again -- really good but didn’t quite live up to the memory, I must have romatacized it a little bit. An amazing beer but a bit abrasive with the tobacco taste and as a result the mouthfeel suffers a little bit. ebone1988 (1968) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - MAR 17, 2016
Bottle shared with koleminer20, Gus, and others. Aroma is dried fruit, tobacco, roasted malt, nice. Appearance is black, thick, brown head. Taste is dried fruit, roasted malt, robust malt, chocolate, coffee, rich, fuck. Mouthfeel is heavy as fuck, soft carbonation, lovely robust aftertaste. Overall, my god is this good. fordest (2470) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - MAR 3, 2016
