3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
From 12 oz. can to glass
Appearance: Pours brown with a thin tan film of tight bubbles.
Aroma: Chocolate roast, walnuts and bread crust.
Taste: Roasted malt, bread crust, euro hop spice with a little twang at the end.
Mouthfeel: On the thin side of medium bodied and prickly.
Overall: A brown ale that wasn’t bad but didn’t knock my socks off. Very easy to drink for those not looking for a sessionable hoppy pale.
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2017 Brownish copper colour, smallish head on top left quite quickly. Aroma has caramel malts, some roasted malts and piney hop notes. Taste has slightly roasted and caramel malts with pine and grassy hops. Medium body and high carbonation. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - MAR 30, 2017

0.355l can. Definitely a brown one in color, little cloudy and a tall almost fluffy but somewhat fading beige head that leaves minimal of lacings. Smells mild chocolaty. Tones of nuts, dark berries and some darker types of malts. Nice and not too extreme aroma. It has a somewhat high carbonation level wrapped in a mild oily texture. Tastes quite good. Again it’s mild chocolaty with a nice dark caramel sweetness. The high carbonation is kinda disturbing the flavors a tad perhaps. There’s hints of truffles, marzipan and red berries in the finish. All in all its definitely a little dull, but drinks nice enough. 24.06.2015 Yves (3110) - Turnhout, BELGIUM - NOV 5, 2016
Shared with Wim at my home. Brown colored beer with small off-white head and no carbonation visible. Coffee malted aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is malty roasted hopped. tia (2228) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - SEP 19, 2016
Tap @ Pump House, Fairbanks. Dark auburn with thin head. Smells lightly sweet, almost chocolatey. Taste has some sourdough and a nice light bitter finish. It is a little cold, probably even better warmer.

From a 12 oz can. Pours a clear cola brown with an ecru head. Sweet malty nose. Flavors of caramel and toast. Smooth finish. Tasty. 78samh (288) - Olympia, Washington, USA - AUG 24, 2015
12 oz can pours a murky brown with a tan foamy head. Aroma is coffee and bread. Taste is coffee and chocolate with hints of caramel, toast and yeast. Smooth finish. All around great brown ale. Oscbert (1319) - Lincoln, California, USA - JUL 31, 2015
~Rich malty aroma of chocolate bread, caramel, toffee, pecan pie.
~Pours a dark brown with reddish tent, small lasting creamy light tan head.
~Roast in flavor with, bread and caramel, light cocoa, earthy, woody hop character.
~Medium full bodied, medium low CO2, slight astringency, lingering roast bitter finish.
~The aroma is great! Some of the great of aroma is lost in the flavor though. The woody flavor lasts too long and kind of ruins some of the malty nuances that I like. Probably go great with food. Smoked ribs, pulled pork.
