On tap at the brewpub. Dark beer with mahogany hues around teh edges. Lasting whispy head with a big nose of roasted malts and buttery oak. This is a really big lager with brown sugar and burnt buttered toast in the finish. Very nice big beer.

On draft @ MSBC. Dark brown almost black with a thick, foamy head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma of coffee, tart sour cherry, earthy wet oak and some chocolate. Flavor is an odd mix of bitter hops, sour vinegar and sweet chocolate. Medium to full body with lively carbonation and a dry, chalky mouth feel. This is a very odd beer, too much going on, very hard to drink very much of this.
