Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear dark brown color with a moderate frothy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted chocolate malt and pepper aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet & dark pepper flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of long duration. This is a solid beer.

22 oz bottle shared with Tmoney99 and Chris R. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have big chocolate, rye malts, cinnamon, big peppery spice, lasting heat, good flavor, I really liked the level of spice but can see where some could find it to be a bit much.

Tap. Pours deep clear mahogany, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is rich and chocolate. Flavor is light plus sweet,, light plus bitter, rye bite, loads of cocoa and dark sugar without high sweetness, rich and roasty. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Interesting. Almost a chili heat on the finish.

Pours black with light light-tan head. A malt and spicy pepper aroma. A carbonated beer with a unique mix of flavors including malts, chocolate, and spicy pepper. A lingering spicy and malt aftertaste.

Dark brown amber with a caramel-brown foam head. Rich chocolate malt ball nose, lots of melanoidin and cocoa. Chocolate malt bomb body, with a bite to it as the hot pepper sticks to the back of the palate. Well-crafted and enjoyable, but quite a heavy pepper kick.

Bottle. Colour...almost black wit thin tan head. Nose...chocolatey, malty and roasty with notes of chile powder. Palate...yow! Spicy!! Spiced chocolate, spiced nuts, spiced everything! There’s a fair burn going on all over the palate. Some sweetness helps temper the spice but the burn goes on and on.
