22 oz bomber. Pours a clear orange amber with a thick yet creamy white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma of floral hops with a nice citrusy presence. Taste is floral with tangerine hints and a slight piney aftertaste. Very mellow and quite enjoyable. MaxxDaddy (415) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 9, 2008
Bottle shared by puzzl. Pours orange/amber with a bit of off-white head. Aroma is an entire pine forest, probably the most I’ve ever smelled in an IPA of any variety. Very nice. Taste is very bitter of course, more pine trees with just a tinge of malt support in the back. Slightly sticky mouthfeel with a clean bitter finish that doesn’t linger too long. This was a really well-done brew. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - APR 8, 2008
Another delicious hop juice brew. Pours rich amber with a thin white head that falls very fast. Sweet pine hop nose, green and powerful. Flavor is what you expect, a slathering of "stick to the palatet" hop fluid, the kinda stuff that wouldn’t suprise me if it dissolved gum or something. "Educate the palate"? i’m not sure, maybe pin its arse to the seat and tape a book to its face kind of education. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - APR 7, 2008
Big props to puzzl for this beer. Poured a light orange-gold color with a small off-white head. Big hop forward aroma. Citrus over pine with some sweaty notes as well. The flavor was a mix of citrus and piney hops with enough malt to poke through and give some balance. Fairly dry with a moderately bitter finish. puzzl (3260) - New York, New York, USA - APR 5, 2008
Bottle from my sis. Huge hop aroma, impressively so for 7.5%, slightly lemony, pine, a touch of yeast. Dank, wet flavor, totally huge with no malt at all (as it should be!), only lightly bitter, with some notes of matzah and potato. Very very tasty. Impressively hoppy for its low alcohol.
