Bottle. Pours golden orange with white head. Nose and taste of pumpkin, earthy malt, nutmeg, cardamom and coriander. Some other spices. Lighter medium body. bhensonb (15505) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy orange amber with a transient beige head. Aroma is very light pie spice. Med body or better. Flavor is pie spice, but there is the yeast/fruit ester thing playing in. It’s thinning rapidly and the flavors aren’t really strong. It’s nice, but it’s not very exciting? Damning with faint praise? It isn’t really sweet or bitter. The flavors tend to fade away. Dogbrick (13398) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 28, 2013
Sample at Kurtkeller 001: Pumpkin-tastic 01 on 11/22/2013. Clear orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of cloves, malt and pumpkin. Medium-bodied with flavors of cloves, yeast, earthy malt and ginger. The finish is mildly spiced with a ginger and yeast aftertaste. Decent overall. j12601 (12982) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JAN 3, 2010

Kinda works, with the combo of pumpkin pie spices and Belgian yeast, but overall is another decent beer in a long line of them, and it costs as much or more than better beers. marcus (10483) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 26, 2013
Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours light amber with a rich off-white head and a spicy pumpkin aroma. There is a rather harsh vegetable flavor with a mix of spices and a noticeable yeast presence. phaleslu (10462) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 13, 2011
22 oz. bottle via trade from Keir- thanks, Keir! Naturally, I brought it back up to share on his birthday. Pours a clear amber-orange color with almost no head, just a little off-white ring. The aroma has a nice pumpkin ale thing going on- pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel malts, and graham crackers. The flavor is initially disappointing, watery and vegetal, but it gets better after a couple minutes- pumpkin, the same spices, caramel malts, and honey. Light-medium bodied, with a sweet, sticky mouthfeel and low carbonation. Stick with this one after the initial taste- I promise it gets better. blipp (9502) - La Mesa, California, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Draft at Rattle with Npodendorf. Pours orange with a white head. Fruity, like peaches and apricot almost, some light spicy notes, yeast, and light wheaty notes. Relatively well balanced. bytemesis (8808) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - NOV 21, 2013
Bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with a medium beige head, creamy with nice lacing. Aroma is spices, allspice, clove, cinnamon, herbs. Flavor is the same, light sweet and light zesty bitter, herbal and quite spicy with strong earthy yeast notes as well. Medium body. Meh.
