Mahogany body, thin, firm caramel head. Nice Scotch malt nose with a touch of peat and rawhide. Malty and peaty, salty body. A solid Scotch ale. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 13, 2013
Clear dark copper color with lasting tan head. Bretty lemon, sour fruit, caramel aromas. Smooth medium body. Nice spicy caramel, earthy, dry grass flavors with mild tart lemon---good thorongil2 (3074) - , Ontario, CANADA - JAN 27, 2013
(tap) clear dark amber with a small tan head; sour aroma; balanced flavor though more acidic than expected from a Scottish, not bad Gription79 (2891) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Full brettanomyces character, slight tartness, very rustic, currents, caramel, toffee, great wild character, cherries. Not the best balanced, but tasty. savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Nitro @ Humpy’s. Clearish amber with a long lasting off white head. Aroma of apple cider vinegar, caramel and light smoke. Flavor is cider and malt vinegar with some light sweet caramel malt and smoke. Medium to light body and a thin mouth feel. Very odd beer, I don’t get any brett, more like an infected Scottish ale.
