On tap @ MSBC. Clear golden with a small white head. Light aroma of cereal grain and herbal tea. Flavor is grainy malt with a medium hop bitterness. Light body with average carbonation and a light, crisp mouth feel. Solid beer with no flaws, just really light all around. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 21, 2010

Nice dark orange color with a beautiful head that lasted fairly well. I didn't perceive any carbonation. The aftertaste was somewhat chewy and bitter. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 7, 2003
Cloudy amber topped by big and rocky beige head. Aroma is sweet and big grapefruit. Taste is mildly sweet, and big grapefruit, medium-high intensity bitterness. Aftertaste has the bitterness lingering for some time. Medium body with light chewiness and a dry finish. jsquire (4599) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - FEB 4, 2003
Pretty orange/copper color out of the bottle with a rocky, off-white head and a sweet, citrus nose. Very fruity ale with lots of orange flavors and a very strong, raw hop finish. It could have used a little more body for me, but it was a tasty, easy drinking ale.

Nice color with good head, and citrus smell; orange nectar taste with strong hoppy finish. Makes bitter cold evenings with good friends seem warmer. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - NOV 18, 2002
Rerate: Big, sweet and hoppy aroma. Juicy hop flavors exude. Nice and rounded malt flavors. Interesting citrus flavors. Orange especially. Balanced bitterness in the finish resides on the tongue well. Braudog (6837) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - OCT 16, 2002
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2005 Nice head, inviting cloudy orange-auburn color. Smell of a sweet nectar. Lacey palate with sweet, hop-flower flavor. Good. themorningzoo (49) - Fairbanks, USA - APR 12, 2002
