500ml bottle. Amber with an off white head. Some apple, overripe fruit, barley, alcohol, sugar, old hops. Moderate body, mild carbonation, very sweet, becomes even more so on the finish with a very sweet caramelized pear ending. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 21, 2012
Nose is full of sugary caramel with really mild hops. A small ring persists but nothing more. Mouthfeel is syrupy, treacle-like almost. Pretty sweet but not overly so, an honest bitterness cutting into it. Overall a nice english barleywine, can’t wait to try more from these guys!

Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours dark amber with a big frothy white head. Aroma of grainy and bready malts, light hops and alcohol. Taste is sweet malty, light burning alcohol sweetness as well, lingering sweet. Full bodied. A tad too sweet. StefanSD (2468) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - SEP 22, 2012
500 ml bottle courtesy of Jacob. Thanks. Best before 30-05-2014. Pours a dark amber color with a small off white head that slowly fades to a fine film. The aroma is soft and understated with sweet musty pears, filberts and maple. The taste is mostly sweet with saccharin pears, apples, frangelico and a touch of sherry. The palate is full and creamy with soft carbonation. Finishes long and sticky sweet. Overall: Fans of sweet barley wines will love this one, and it should age well for those holding an extra bottle in the cellar. I’d love to see what time would do to this one, its better than average now, but could turn out great with about five years on it. anders8000 (390) - aarhus.c., DENMARK - JUN 16, 2012

500ml Bottle: Got in trade from stobbe74; THANKS Soeren! Aroma of malt, vegetables, slight vinegar, slight caramel, slight diacetyl, and toffee. Poured deep amber/brown in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, tan head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Full of tiny-sized particles throughout. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of malt, toffee, vegetables, and slight diacetyl. Medium body. Viscous, the slightly sticky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Malt, diacetyl, toffee, vegetable finish is medium sweet and slightly sticky. 10%ABV is completely hidden throughout.
