Bottle. Pours hazy nutty brown with medium light brown head. Aroma is malt syrup, wheat bread, honey and prunes. Taste is extremely sweet and light bitter. Body is syrupy with light fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and very sweet with notes of malt, caramel, blueberries and sweet chocolate. Overall very (too) sweet on it?s own but it may be nice with a dessert. Linnet (1834) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - MAR 8, 2014

Clear copper with some floaties and a minimal white head. Classic aromas of caramel, candi, sweet fruits. Full body, low carbonation, very sweet, banana , finishing on a banana cake note and warming finale. A bit sticky, but very classic for the style. angel77 (3392) - oviedo, SPAIN - JAN 6, 2014
Botella de 50 cl en el lupulo. Octubre de 2013. Bastante buena barley wine. Igual demasiado dulce con cuerpo medio - fuerte. Buena a necesario repetir de nuevo. IPAgutten79 (947) - Skui, NORWAY - DEC 21, 2013

Bottle from the zwergs. Amber brown. Butterscotch vanilla, burnt caramel, some darker fruity notes, towards raisins. Full bodied, with sweet cola flavours. Interesting. Isn’t as dark musty as many, but really cola- like sweet. Overripe musty fruits. I’m not really a fan of the style, but nice clean flavourful stuff. Cunningham (7990) - Halden, NORWAY - DEC 12, 2013
Appearance: Clear deep copper color with a tan head. Off white head. Ok lacing.StoutHead (966) - DENMARK - NOV 17, 2013
Aroma: Fruity and sweet malty.
Palate: Medium to full body. Sweet and a mild bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Sweet malty, vinous and fruity. Very well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: A bit to sweet for me. Probably a quite typical barley wine as it should be. I am a hop head..

Bottle. Amber, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty and sugary sweet aroma, caramel and some fruitiness. Body is medium to full, malty and sugary sweet flavor, caramel and some fruitiness, light alcohol. Finish is average, malty and sugary sweet, caramel and light fruitiness, light alcohol. Way too sweet BW - lacks character. Really nothing but sugary sweetness.

Clear caramel colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, wine, raisins, malts, wood and alcohol. Caramel flavour, quite sweet, raisins, some madeira notes, feels aged. Finish caramel and raisins. Nice!
