Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, toffee. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. 
CBF09. 50 cL bottle. Pours golden deep amber with a fully gone head. Sweet caramel and barley flavoured with a nice hops counter balance. Bottled. A cloudy deep red beer with a lazing red-brown head. The aroma has strong notes of over ripe fruits and alcohol, as well as medium notes of malt and wood. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of alcohol, over ripe fruits, and malt, as well as medium notes of caramel and wood, leading to a sweet and smooth finish. @CPH BeerFest2010. Slightly hazy rubyish brown colour with a small off-white fluffy head. Aroma is caramel malts, alcohol, raisins, some mild vanilla as well as some fudge and mild fruityness. Flavour is quite much the same in a nice balance. Pleasant.

Biottle. Pours a dark anber color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty sweetish caramel and dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with some bitter hints and hints of dark fruit. Has a sweetish malty bitter spicy finish with hints of dark fruit in the aftertaste. Bottle 50 cl. Almost clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of overripe fruit with some hops. Quite full-bodied with sweetish overripe fruit and burned caramel. Bottled at Carlsens Kvarter, Odense. Hazy mahogany colour, lasting head. Malty bready nose. Sweet with some some strawberry esters, full bodied with lovely deep malt character. Copenhagen Beer Festival.Clear brown beer. Soft and dry palate. Lovely rich toffee caramel malt. The hops are quite mild. A rich barleywine.
Bottle. Clear amber color, medium white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is very sweet, caramel syrup on freshly baked biscuits.
