Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate malt, strong coffee, moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark malty and coffee. Toffee and dark caramelish. Bitter, herbal, roasted, liqourice and dark malty flavoured. Mild acidic. Bottled. A pitch black beer with a collapsing dark brown head. The aroma has strong notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, and alcohol, as well as lighter notes of smoke. Deep ruby brown colour, close to black, with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some toffee, mild ashes, roasted malts, some smoked wet wood as well as some liquorice. Flavour is being qquite much the same, but the liquorice is being much more evident.

Opaque black beer, small chocolate coloured head. Softish semi dry palate. Lots of dark malt but not bitter or roasty. Minerals and aniseed underneath. On top is mellow dark chocolate and coffee. Dark malt tang rides alongside. Not bad.
