Served on bottle. Stored for 4 months, in fridge for 24 hours. Black beer with a big light brown head, that stays for a long time. Aroma consists of liqourice, raisins, roasted malt. Taste is a good balance between sweet an bitter with a tend to the bitterness, which is fine in this case. Aftertaste shows a little bit of alcohol, though. Light brown, hazy enough and a visible carbonation aided head. Greasy fennel and liquorice party, up front unrestricted spices. Taste is unsurprisingly fainter, lean bitterness and cooling roast and spicy carbonation. Finishes greases spice and tinny roast linger.BenH (3439) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 8, 2015
