COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Årets ølnyhed 2015 i Danmark!

33cl bottle from SlackerMads, as part of the EU Local Swap 2017, thanks! A black beer with a mid-sized good lasting tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee, liquorice, hints of dark riped reddish fruits. Taste of sweet dark malt, chocolate, sugar, vanilla, lactose, mild roasted malt, nice stuff!

Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks DSG. Black with a quickly dissolving tan head. Sweet cocoa, coconut, some vanilla aroma. Sweet, soy sauce, slightly alcoholic and burnt wood in the mouth. Full body, long, a little woodsy and roasty finish.

33 cl bottle, bought a little while back from Systembolaget. Sampled on July 13, 2017.
BB 04-07-2019.
Black color with hints of dark reddish brown, medium sized tan to light bronw head that is rather bubbly. Alcohol, grainy, slight burnt scent. Chocolate, malty, dry, bitter, alcohol taste. Metallic, bitter, some high % cacao chocolate aftertaste. Medium full body with low CO2 mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness. A tad boozy.

Bottle. 11.0%. Best before 14.06.19. Pours almost black, with a light tan head. Good lacing. Overripe fruit aroma, with a roasted note in the background, along with hints of chocolate and coffee, and a light hop note. Light alcohol overtone as it warms. Flavour is overripe fruit, roasted as well. Hint of chocolate. Somewhat liquorice-y bitter finish with a light, sweet liquorice note. Lingering alcohol burn, followed by grassy and ashy hints. Overall so-so; okay as such, fairly well-made, but I don’t care for the overripe fruit notes. 14.06.17.
