A fine wheat-experience on a hot lazy-summer-day. Spiced as it should be, and a balanced body.

Mørkegylden wit med lav karbonering. Duft af krydderi og citrusfrugter. Høj grad af sødme med noter af krydderier.

Smager ikke meget af hvedeøl, men har dog en fin lys smag af frugter og en del sødme.

In the "old" days, types like this was my gateway to other beer styles beyond lager. Now, I’m not so keen. However, as I am a rather big fan of anything made by Midfyns Bryghus, I grabbed this as fast as I saw it. Not a beer I’m going to return to. Too many spices clamoring for room in a beer that has the kind of quality, where it feels like it is trying to grow in your mouth. Once and for all, I have to admit, I can’t stand koriander.

Hansen (8613) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAR 8, 2014
Sampled as C-dur at the brewery. First of all: gushing. Colour is orange, hazy. Has a white, lasting head. Light perfumed aroma, spicy, harmonic, yeasty, pepper. Flavor starts sweet, finish moderate bitter. Creamy texture, soft carbonation.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, coriander, orange and bubblegum. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Aroma of orange and pepper. Clear pale golden with small white head. Sweet & smooth taste of clementine. Medium body with smooth texture, average carbonation and some sticky notes on the tongue in the finish.

jesperhammer (4874) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2013
22-SEP-2013, bottle @home, from Superbest. Very hazy pale golden with high almost white head tah dies quickly leaving a blank surface. Yeast and spice aroma with orange peel and some toast. Taste the same. More malts with some caramel as well. Thin body, soft carbonation. Short aftertaste not a lot of bitterness.
