Bottle. Clear-looking, dark brown body with a reddish hue. The head is tan and creamy, and leaves nice lacings as the beer is consumed. The aroma is slightly sour, with lots of roasted malt and coffee like scents. Surprisingly thin body for a 7.2% ABV stout, but there’s also a sweetish feeling. Flavorwise, it has burnt malt, a little fruity note, a pleasant oxidation in the background, and a coffee-like bitterness. Licorice too. The finish is long, with bitterness, mostly coffee-like bitterness, some licorice, and dried fruits. A little warming touch from the alcohol too. The beer is a bit "different" but quite nice. Not too drinkable though. But I like it... (071114) Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 30, 2007

Comments: Rye, leather, toasted pleasant and original flavours admist this thin, but pleasant and spicy stout.
