Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a good-looking pitch black body with a big, light beige head. Nose is coffee, dark chocolate, licorice and a rather unique dark maltiness I’ve come to know as recurrent in Midtfyn’s beers. Taste is bitter coffee tones up front, then the whole thing slides comfortably down to mocha and dark chocolate. Kinda chewy palate, but suitable enough. Hints of leather and ashes in the aftertaste, but only vague. A pretty good stout from Midtfyn, all in all.

Bottled. Pours black with a medium sized, lacing tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and licorice. Sweet flavor that ends up dry with bitter notes. Medium bodied, oily text. and soft carb. A nice stout.

pours unclear very dark brown with a light beige head, some retention and lacing. burnt caramel, smoked malts and ashes, lightly fruity - bit of raisins and berries, woodsy notes, some sweetness - dark candi, minerals, booze, roasted acidity, pine and resin. moderate carbonation, medium body - oily and pretty thick, bittersweet grassy-resinous-bitter coffee finish. obviously a danish-style sweet stout. not overwhelmingly though.

Aroma of slightly roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, liquorice. Flavour is malty and roasty, liquorice, mild sweetness. A bit too light on the palate to be a true winner, but a nice Stout nonetheless.
