The foams is very nice and the aroma is coffee / licorice. The taste is partially English licorice and a very delicate coffee. Soft, rich and incredibly tasty. Very creamy mouth feeling and a little touch of dark chocolate. Good and welcoming stout, as I would recommend others to taste.

Bottle. Creamy lasting brown head. Pitch black body. Lovely cocoa aroma. Smooth and pleasant well rounded creamy coffee cocoa flavor. Alcohol well hidden. I guess you’ve got a new brewmaster. You are definately on the right track.

Bottled - Chris O shindig 2007 - A black beer with a smoky roasty fishy aroma with notes of licquorice. The taste is good with roasty and smoky notes. I remember criticising their first two beers. This is a huge improvement.

Dryish, roasty, slightly ashy flavor with coffee and hints of dark chocolate. Medium-bodied, low-carbonated. A pleasant and balanced, coffee-roasty stout.
