Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Light brown coloured. Vanilla, light coffee, chocolate in the aroma. Flavour has some sweetness, light roast, light alcohol, some liqourice and some light floral notes. Quite complex, but not tje full power on the flavour as I like it. Would be quite suuitable as a session beer, had the ABV been a bit lower. Is quite balanced. Is dry and roasty in the end. Absolute drinkable stout. stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - MAR 4, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 5, 2007 Bottle, 50cl. Nice light-brown foam. Roasty arome, with chocolate notes. Smooth flavor with coffee and licorice. Little disapointing mouthfeel. This beer could do better with a richer body. Overall a nice smooth stout. gnoff (10793) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 22, 2007

500ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, Danish Beer Days 2007)
Black, thin cappuccino head. Bacon and dark bitter chocolate aroma. Pleasant soft mouthfeel. A distinct but not overpowering burnt taste. Good creamy mouthfeel and full-bodied taste make this a classic stout. Good burnt finish. TBone (17989) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 28, 2008

Ruby red, almost opaque black color, small creamy tan head. Coffeish, milky aroma. Crisp carbonation. Coffeish, milky-chocolate and very balanced stout. Alcohol is very well hidden.

500ml bottle. Black color with light brown head. Aroma of chocklate and licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet choclate and coffee. Carbonation is medium, makes it more easy-drinking than other stouts. Long aftertaste. Great with a chocklate cake. bartlebier (4108) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 13, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 18, 2015 15cl sample, from bottle @München Braukunst Live (MBL 09/03/2013). - Pours a gorgeous opaque dark brown, smooth and oily. Rather retained aroma, not overly roasty nor hoppy; deliciously full creamy mouthfeel with some acidic dryness, taste is a bit of everything porter, in good balance: liquorice, mild roasted cocoa, lactic acid. Smooth and pleasing, not unnecessarily experimental, reminded me a bit of a US milk stout with a rougher edge.
