A thin creamy head, white, cloudy. Aroma is malty, berry (forgot the english word, kirsebær in norwegian :)) taste: a good start, but then it gets thin, dry aftertaste, i did not like the tast that is hanging back inmy mouth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample from bottle at the Beer Enthusiast stand at Nærbø, Ølfestivalen 2013. Muddy, murky golden with no head. Malty honey nose. Sweet, light wooden banana flavors. Full bodied and smooth.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dark amber color ale with a small foamy head with average retention. Aroma of sweet wheat malt notes with weird ester is not that enticing. Taste is also dominated by weird grainy bubblegum notes with weird residual sugar notes. Body is quite full with average carbonation. I am not sure what the brewer was aiming for but this is not very refreshing for a wheat beer with weird grainy notes taking too much room in the overall flavours.

50 cl. bottle. Hazy, orange colour with a brownish hue. Sweet aroma with limes, raspberries, wheat malts, bubblegum and spices. Taste is sweet. Medium body, lively carbonation. Finishes sweet with limes, a herbal sweetness from the honey and citrus. Makes sense on a hot summers day on the porch, otherwise odd.

(Rating #4714)
