Cask, looks great - clear amberbrown with a lacy white ring - the spiced nose is somehow a tad antiseptic though, and the flavour is basically a watery bitter with a wodge of xmas spices. OK but dull.

Bottle from Cadbury Garden Centre. Caramel and spices , clear, very little head with a orange colour, not dissimilar to Iucozade In colour. Fairly easy drinking and pleasant. Would get again

Bottle 500ml. @ [ (Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting) by Chriso - London ].

Clear medium amber yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, tart, vinegar. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20130331]

Tasting at ChrisO’s. Light haze on this amber beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Oxidised tasting malt. Dull dried fruits. Light dry finish. Meh!

Bottle drank Christmas night. Honey amber haloed with white. Blackcurrant, redcurrant and apple yeasty aroma. Gentle fruity apple peel yeast; orange wine gum, coriander sprinkles. Bit watery but with attractive fruity notes.
