A deep golden beer for hopheads. Brewed with new variety Citra from the USA. Bitter bursts with hoppy fruitiness; passion fruit, nectarine and orange zest, that lasts long into the finish.

Cask conditioned handpump Wenlock Arms London 15/02/13. A golden beer with a white bubbly head and lacing. Good citrus hoppy notes throughout. Lots of orange and peachy notes. Not classical Citra but still nicely tasty. A good malt backbone. Good fruits. Very likeable.

Cask, Mariners Great Yarmouth. Pleasant fruity aroma with hint of citrus. Golden colour with light frothy head which lasts with light lacing. Easy hoppy taste with pleasant citrus flavours, orange and perhaps lime giving decent after taste, not too overpowering with the hops. All in all, a nice and tasty easy drinking golden ale. One to look out for.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 20/11/16. Golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is orange marmalade, brioche, straw, lemon wine gums, citric peel. Taste comprises orange peel, melon, citric tinged straw, nectarine, soft bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop tickle. Solid citric kissed gold.

9th April 2015: gravity pour at the Isle of Man CAMRA beer festival. Golden and almost lager bright with a fruity hop nose, become more of a citrus aroma as it warms in the glass. Slight orange flavouring in the mouth. As the mouth dries after each sip the citrus notes get stronger. Not really my thing.

Very easy drinking, hoppy golden ale. Good dry hop finish, low carbonation, tasty session beer.

Cask gravity at Firkin Ale House Folkestone. Clear gold beer lasting thi white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma. Some sweaty sox flavour. Good swallow. That sweaty sox comes back on the finish. Decent but not quite my thing.

Old Fountain. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, little white head. Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Very mild and fine carbonation. Airly light malt, a little creamy. Sweet Citra hops - slightly floral orange and tangerine. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Very easy drinking. Good stuff. 3.47

The Sun Inn, Kelvedon. Summer Beer Fest. Bright clear gold beer, little white head. Lovely citric nose, orange and pink grapefruit. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation. Lovely vibrant orange, peach and passion fruit hops. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Really nice presentation of Citra in a cask beer.Top notch!

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/5/2013. Pale amber with a slight white head. Plenty of citrus fruit, a touch of zingy lemon, crisp malts and a dryish finish. A good beer.
