Light on the hops, big on the flavor this blond ale is made with flaked oats which lend to the beer’s smooth creaminess. Rounded out with 2 different hops, the Clem’s is one laid back, easy drinking beer.

Shared w joey at brewery. Dark gold. Fruity. Tastes like frosted corn flakes.

Tap at Migration. Much love, because it was free, but - cream ale - so, you know....

On tap at Migration, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is subtle with notes of grains. Flavour is pretty bland, with toasted grains and light bready malt. Nothing exciting but it’s very clean and drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours hazy golden yellow with a white head. The aroma has dough, pale malt, corn and is pretty rich. Not much in the way of hops on the aroma. It has a light crisp body that starts feeling a bit more full with soft carbonation. The flavor has pale malt, some fruit, dry grains and grass. The finis has spice hops and an herbal slant. Good for the style.

"Pleasant enough for a light vanilla creamy brew, but doesn’t do anything to stand out in the crowd, in style or within a very solid lineup at this brewer."

chinchill (5450) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 18, 2014
On tap at the brewpub in Portland. Pours was clear golden-amber with a durable head that left plenty of sticky lacing: Impressive for style. Aroma: subtle, with an about equal mix of hops and malts. Unusually, the hop component carries a lot of citrus. Flavor: mild but strong for style, withno off-flavors and a relatively strong hop load. Feel: light and smooth, but carbonation should be softer. O: Recommended version of the style.

Draft at the source. Hazy pale yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma of light straw, vanilla, citrus. Taste is straw, lemon, subtle white pepper. Easy drinking.

Nocturne (2238) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2013
On tap at Horse Brass, PDX. Hazy yellow shade with minimal head. Light, creamy, almost banana-like aroma. Mouthfeel is very interesting and unusual to me. Fairly weak and lemony taste. As my first cream ale I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it wasn’t too bad overall.

Blech, I don’t like cream ales! Um so don’t take my opinion on this one. Its pale and smells pale but with that weird creaminess thing going on. Kind of like vanilla I guess.

Hazy orange color, tiny white head. Light sweetish candy-fruity nose. Light-bodied. Sweetish-grainy flavor, like in some Zwickels. Weakish and watery. I had this on nitro toio - not much difference.
