On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep hazed cola brown with a medium sized tan head. Roast on the nose, cocoa, chocolate, a bit of roast. Medium bodied, thins out right away, weak coffee, cocoa, roast. Slow chocolate, old coffee, cocoa, malt, a bit of roast. Slow cocoa, long bitterness. Roast into the finish. Chocolate and cocoa. Another forgettable beer that tastes like it came out of a brewpub 20 years ago.

Very similar to a mild. Sweet. Mild roasted. Very safe porter. Cocoa. On tap at brewery. monk191 (2023) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 9, 2016
A solid Porter, not the most interesting, but well done. Pours a beautiful deep black with a thick tan head. Smells of coffee and vanilla. Taste is creamy, with coffee and vanilla and a slightly bitter coffee finish. Had the nitro version on tap at the brewery. commonshawn (1311) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 3, 2016
Tap at brewery. Half pint on nitro . Nearly black with thick creamy off white head. Pleasant nose. Very creamy. Oaty, mild chocolate. Smooth and balanced. Nice finish. Got it for the great name, and it drained one from deep. Busta bucket. BVery (11209) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 8, 2015
Tap at Migration. Dark brown pour with a small frothy head. Lots of oats, some roast and cocoa. Medium slick palate. Solid porter, no doubt.

On tap at Migration, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of oats, cocoa powder and roast. Flavour brings out roasted malt, dry cocoa, and oats. Dry and robust. A solid porter. Sarlacc83 (2287) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 5, 2015
Draft at the brewery.
A: Opaque mahogany body, creme colored head, OK lacing.
N: Coffee, baker’s chocolate, appreciable vanilla, a touch of smoke and char. Lactose at the end.
T: Sweet, bitter, and smokey.
M: Medium body, fuzzy carbonation, alcohol nips at the tongue.
O: Fine porter. The nose is the most inviting aspect; I wish it followed through to the taste more than it does. vyvvy (6638) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 8, 2015
On tap at the brewpub - Pours dark brown with a tan head. The aroma has cocoa, smooth roast, cream, earthy hops an English yeast. It has a medium body with a smooth feel and medium carbonation. The flavor begins with roasty malt, some cream, earthy/woody hops and some vanilla. The finish has a bit of char and good amount of dark chocolate. Nice porter. slowrunner77 (12581) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 17, 2014
"Near black pour. Hearty and robust aroma and flavor of roasted coffee, chocolate, ample hops in the background. Very smooth and drinkable. Solid........" chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 18, 2014
On tap at the brewpub in Portland.
lack and opaque with ruby-brown edges. A durable tan head left streaks of sticky lacing.
Aroma: slightly strong for style, with hints of cocoa nibs and burnt toast.
Flavor: Fortunately, there’s far less burnt/char quality in the flavor than in the nose. Black coffee kicks in for the lingering, roasty aftertaste.
Feel: full bodies with lively, medium carbonation.
O: Decent, dark-roasted version of the style.
