Draft - Light wheat and banana. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Light sweet banana and nice soft malts. Not bad.

Niceclodu golden pour with typical notes of bananna and bread. Spices come through on the palate and finish even stronger.

MiP (15920) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2010
Draught, 5.5% at the brewpub. Seemingly clean banana aroma, hint of bubble gum. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour has the usual banana, a bit of sweetness. Citric finish, somehow sugary/caramelly, like white sugar.

Lubiere (13971) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 22, 2010
A hazy blonde to gold hefeweizen with a thin white head. In aroma, fruity esters, cotton candy, watermelon and light cloves. In mouth, a slightly watery hefeweizen, cloves, bananas, oily mouthfeel. On tap at brewpub, August 6 2010.

Pale golden pour. The nose is loaded with banana. Soft smoky phenolics nose on the top. Fruity and quite tart on the finish. A touch of apricot – but it’s fairly restrained. There is a touch of very lightly toasted malt on the back lending a bit of complexity. Softly sweet and chewy. Pretty nice weisse.

On tap at brewpub. Prominent banana, with hints of wheat and citrus. Hazy gold with fluffy head. Nice and fruity with a full finish. Refreshing!

I tried this beer on June 8, 2010 at ’Duggan’s Brewery’ in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer was poured a hazy, orange-gold colour with a huge white head. The aroma was wheat malt, cloves, banana, and some peppery spice. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was slightly sweet, refreshing, with a spicy finish

Spab (3904) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 19, 2010
On tap at brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy light yellow-gold with moderate-sized white head. Aroma of light banana and clove. Fairly big banana in the flavour with mild clove. Ok but far from Duggan’s finest.

[2668-20091221] Tap. Aroma has a little synthetic spicy banana yeast and mushrooms. Hazy, light orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Some grassy banana yeast in the flavour. Medium body. Nice yeast.

Enjoyed multi times, inconsistent but great. At its best 13 has a little bold banana and wheat malty sweetness and a bit of clove/bubblegum offset by a touch of lemon and noble hop. Can be really balanced and tasty!
