275 ml bottle from LCBO (via my bro), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. 11SE11.thb (849) - Alberta, CANADA - SEP 21, 2011
App.: Clear light golden with a decent white meringue.
Aroma: Light toasted rice and wheat, an odd bit of tang, a wee hint of vague fruitiness.
Palate: Medium body, sloppy carbonation.
Flav.: Cardboard, vaguely peppery, grain, minerals, oddly bitter; dry with surprising bitterness given the muted character of the beer, vague biscuit and fruitiness, a little herbal.
More interesting than Coors Light for sure. Seems odd and fails to meet expectations.
(note - bottle lists this as 4.0%). Pours bubbly pale apple juice with little head. Aroma: light general graininess, a little dry? Hops don’t really provide much aroma, but are there to balance and provide a bit of finishing bitterness. Fred82 (2332) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 25, 2011
275ml bottle from LCBO.

Appearance : Clear pale yellow with a small white head. Light lacing.
Aroma : Cheap grain with honey and very very light hops. Very light citrusy notes. Corn and other stuff.. smells like a macro.
Taste : Cheap lager, corn and light honey. Light citrusy notes. Grainy finish, not much bitterness.
Overall : Not good at all. Shame on them for making you think it’s going to be hoppy by calling this Sorachi lager when in reality hops are not even there. Nose is full of cheap grain and junks. Taste not better. Not good.
Bottle. Poured clear yellow with small light head. Not much aroma or flavour. Light spicy aroma with light dry finish. JesseM (1158) - Margaritaville, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 22, 2011
Wimpy little 275ml single bottle from my local llikkbo. Pours a pale yellow with a white froth that goes flaccid faster than an old man coming to the end of a viagra stint. Aroma is dull and lifeless and warrants little comment. Flavour has some nice pale malt character over shadowed by some serious popcorn butter flavour, which seems like a serious flaw but thankfully I don’t mind dyaceytl. Duggan’s seems to me like a modest brewery with much to be modest about. EDIT: holy crap sorachi is a variety of hops!? I’m presuming then, that the beer name is meant to be ironic.

Bottle, pours bright yellow colour, really nothing special, it tastes a little better as you drink more. But not one I would likely have again. Pretty basic beer RayOhm (474) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 16, 2011
this kinda really sucked. had that gross sour malt flavour all the macros have. nothing really good about it. pootzboy (1824) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 7, 2011
A very pale dry lager. Decent cap for a "dry" (rice) lager.... Aroma is spicy from the Sorachi hops and the rice gives a faint fruity-cereal note. Spritzy, dry, clean, nice sharp dry finish. Great little patio beer for quaffing a few on hot days. A Pale dry (rice) beer micro brewed the right way - decent flavor for such a pale dry beer. I loved this beer on tap at the brewery. Poured cloduy yellow with spiced notes. These notes gave a bread like quality that ran a long almost creamy maly finish. JB84 (652) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2011
This beer is a big surprise very mild but big and flavorful.Aroma was light with grassy nose and touch of lemon. Poured cloudy off yellow two finger thick head. Mouthfeel was smooth, nicely carbed, and extremely quaffable. Tasted of pepper, lemon, grassy hops and sweet malt. Very sessionable great summer brew.
