Draught. at the brewpub. Slightly hazy gold with an average white head, a bit of lacing. Interesting aroma - a little buttery up front but very grassy-bitter as it warms, with the rice adding a different nose; slightly rice-y and grainy-sweet. The taste follows, quite pungently grassy yet thickly malty, not too sweet ... more-ish, although it took a while for me to warm up to it; clean, no ugly aftertaste, probably their best "with food" offering

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color lager with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light citrusy and floral grassy notes from the hops with light clean cereal notes. Taste is a mix between some grassy floral hops with good notes of refreshing clean cereal notes with some light sweet notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed though a bigger hops punch could have provided further enjoyment of this one.

Note: 3/10

On tap at the brewpub Clear yellow pour, aroma of rice, lemon, and fresh cut grass. A sweet maltiness follows in the aftertaste. Really a delightful brew. nice stuff.

275 ml bottle from LCBO (via my bro), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. 11SE11.

App.: Clear light golden with a decent white meringue. Aroma: Light toasted rice and wheat, an odd bit of tang, a wee hint of vague fruitiness. Palate: Medium body, sloppy carbonation. Flav.: Cardboard, vaguely peppery, grain, minerals, oddly bitter; dry with surprising bitterness given the muted character of the beer, vague biscuit and fruitiness, a little herbal.

More interesting than Coors Light for sure. Seems odd and fails to meet expectations.

On tap at brewpub. Pours a cloudy, ultra pale straw yellow with good-sized white head. Sweet lemon, grain and pepper aroma. Taste is lightly lemony with real pepper presence towards the end. Light side of medium body. Pleasant and different.

Pours a pale crystal clear yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is faint cereal hop and grain. Taste is thin bodied but fairly tasty pale ale. Lightly malted and light floral and cereal hop.
