Smaller 275ml single bottle (luckily, one was alone beside their 6-pack) from the LCBO. Pours a light golden colour with a small white head that disappears quickly. Real cereal malt scent... yeah, the real stuff - no corn. Pretty decent aromas for a light beer. Light-bodied and mildly carbonated. The taste though is kind of weird. Lightly malty, but with rice (it seems) in the aftertaste. Too bad the nice cereal present in the nose is not really showing in the taste. Still, a better than most macro light beers. rederic (3337) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 7, 2012
275ml bottle, bright pale blonde color, with an off-white head, light honeyed pale, pilsener, wheat malt, faint vanilla nose, with a very weak floral fruity hop accent in the aroma follows through on a light-bodied palate with a mild yeasty, doughy, vanilla, light apple sauce fruity character with a very weak flowery fruity pear, lychee, apple, mango hoppy flavour, leading towards a yeasty, doughy, vanilla, subtle lingering fruity hop bitterness finish Viper666 (3287) - Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - APR 7, 2013
Bouteille 275ml. DougShoemaker (3147) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 1, 2010

Aroma of mixed fruit, malt and spice, hazy yellow, tiny white head. Flavour is a musty malt, those hops give a most distinctive exotic punch. Light bodied, well balanced. A simple little beer, yet very unique!
(tap) clear very pale yellow with tall white head; aroma starts with citrus, then a bit funky; clean, balanced, refreshing taste - more like wheat than lager

At the brewery. Appearance: Cloudy yellow, proud white head. Aroma: Lemon, rice, quite wine like. Faint ginger. Flavour: Lemon, ginger, quite grassy with some toffee and malt. Quite interesting. TheJester (2542) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 4, 2013
275 mL bottle. Really pale. Thin ring of head. Wheat in the aroma. And sorachi, I guess. Weird taste is butter, honey, lemon. Something like that. Dry. Not my thing, really. Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 16, 2011
Bottle, pours bright yellow colour, really nothing special, it tastes a little better as you drink more. But not one I would likely have again. Pretty basic beer Fred82 (2324) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 25, 2011

Appearance : Clear pale yellow with a small white head. Light lacing.
Aroma : Cheap grain with honey and very very light hops. Very light citrusy notes. Corn and other stuff.. smells like a macro.
Taste : Cheap lager, corn and light honey. Light citrusy notes. Grainy finish, not much bitterness.
Overall : Not good at all. Shame on them for making you think it’s going to be hoppy by calling this Sorachi lager when in reality hops are not even there. Nose is full of cheap grain and junks. Taste not better. Not good.
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2013 on tap at the brew pub. clear golden with a white head. some lacing. clean light malt aroma with minimal hopping. the flavours is also very clean, refreshing, the soriachi ace hops add some lemony flavour and bitter the finish out nicely. one of the best pale lagers ive ever had.
