Way more grapefruit than any grapefruit IPA I’ve ever had. Brings awesome aroma and look but not what’s needed in terms of taste. Just too grapefruit-y to make it past a unique worth-trying beer to a must-try beer.
In a really cool can.

Can poured a hazy golden amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of bread and grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and smoith with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit zest and a hint of yeast with a smoith dry lingering bitter finish. drjay44 (3830) - Salida, Colorado, USA - NOV 8, 2017
12 oz. can. Canned 09/06/17. Pours a thick, well retained, light ivory head, with slight lacing, over a clear amber (SRM 6) body......nose is heavy grapefruit, mild honey tones, slight cracker......taste is moderately sweet with grapefruit, melon tones, mild malts, slight pine, lemon tones from the hops, finishing with moderate lingering bitterness, balance slightly to the hops......mouth feel, medium light body, mild alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a quite typical IPA of the current fruit toned and dominated style. It is a pleasant and easy drinking beer. BJCP 8/3/14/4/6 tightslice (1438) - Redwood City, California, USA - NOV 4, 2017

Can from local Trader Joe's. Light gold pour. Aroma of fresh grapefruit. Flavor is fresh grapefruit with light malts and a medium bitterness. There is also a light level of sweetness. I enjoyed this. I felt that the grapefruit was incorporated well. It also as the can says real grapefruit. Kudos to Hess, a brewery whose fresh ingredients I have always appreciated. weordie (1401) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2017

I got to say: damn refreshing and tasty. To easy to drink at 7.5% You could find yourself in trouble quick because of the high drinkability index. Good brew from a brewer I don't look to often. 12oz cans Heidbummer (886) - SCOTLAND - OCT 7, 2017
Free beer after a 5k run in San Diego. There is just grapefruit everywhere in this. Tart, cheek sacking bitterness. Far too drinkable. Yummy, if a bit of a one trick pony.
