Ale brewed with grapefruit.
Grapefruit Solis kicks it up a notch by taking our awesome San Diego style IPA and pumping it full of citrusy grapefruit goodness. No artificial flavors either – we’re talking real fruit. The hops are carefully selected to play off the zestiness and the malt is subtle in the background. The result is dry, crisp and deliciously refreshing.

Cunningham (8164) - Halden, NORWAY - SEP 13, 2017
Hazy golden color with a fine white top. Ok lacing. Nice hoppy intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a fine carbonation level. Easy to drink. Ok bitterness versus sweetness. Grapefruit hoppy (+), fruity and pine in the flavor. Lasting tail.
[On tap at BrewDog in Norwich, England]

From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is solid grapefruity. Citrusy. Slight herbal to bitter note. Sweet and grapefruity. Citric and fruity. Dry and solid grapefruity from back of the nose finish.

Everything consistent with the regular Solis IPA enhanced by a juicy and tangy smooth grapefruit flavor.

marcus (10471) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 12, 2017
On tap at zpizza, Sacramento. Pours hazy gold with a thick attractive white head and a strong citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale malt flavor with lots of grapefruit. Refreshing.

mcberko (18422) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 4, 2017
On tap at First Draft, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of grapefruit and citrus hops. Flavour is a total grapefruit bomb, with citrus hops and dry biscuity malt. Oily grapefruity bomb. Fun stuff.

deyholla (11900) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 18, 2017
Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma is full of rich grapefruit with some citrus and grains backing. Flavor has a nice fresh grapefruit note that gives bitter finish and has a grain backbone.

Chadhami (152) - - MAY 20, 2017
Very strong on the grapefruit, a little too strong to my liking, still a good IPA.

DavidWoodruff (629) - Windsor, California, USA - APR 21, 2017
Hazy orange-gold with fading white head. Expected a huge citrus aroma, but the aroma overall is mild and faintly fruity. However, the flavor all but makes up for seemingly shy aroma; you are hit initially with a big grapefruit and candied orange peel taste with such a touch of vanilla that develops into the infamous Orange Julius harmony. The bitterness holds off to the end but is long and quenching. Great summertime IPA!

onceblind (10096) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 5, 2017
Hazy deep golden hue with a foamy white top. Bright grapefruit and orange zest and flesh, that’s semisweet and a touch bitter with a sweet pale malt background. Crisp bright grapefruity start to the flavor that’s a bit bitter but citrusy sweet and pale malty biscuity on the finish. Really clean, bright, and authentically grapefruity without being overly acidic or bitter.

sonnycheeba (6214) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 4, 2017
Tap at OB tasting room. Pours mostly clear bright gold. Aroma and flavor are huge grapefruit and tangerine, sharp piney bitterness, pale malt, and faint caramel. Medium body.
