Well, it seems to be that time of the year to try this kind of stuff.
Into a pint glass, the appearance has a clear golden orange to amber color with a fast rising carbonation seen throughout. There isn’t any head and there isn’t any lacing.
The smell had alcohol and apple, more so like green apple.
The taste was slightly tart from the green apple that lead to a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly sharp carbonation that lead to a drying effect.
Overall, well, it’s a cider, what else were you looking for? crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 1, 2014
8 oz can. Drank from the can. Smell is like redd apple ale, pretty similar. Taste is sweet artificial apple, some band aid, weird bleachy finish. MattH (863) - California, USA - MAY 19, 2014
16 ounce can. Gold pour. Not much head. Aroma is apple. Flavor is apple with a little alcohol. Light body and medium carbonation. Easy to drink. Overall this tastes a little cheap, but it is close to being good. Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 4, 2014
$1 can from the discount bin @ Kroger. Golden pour from the 16 ounce can with a flash of white head. Smell is tart sweet apples with a hint of vinegar or old skins. Taste shows lots of sweet apples, barely tart, a hint of vinegar is present, touch of older light beer. Not bad. poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - APR 28, 2014
8 oz baby can. Aroma is cidery, perfumy. Pours clear pale golden with a vanishing white crackly head. Taste is mostly sweet, a little tart. Tastes like a cider, not really tasting beer. No complexity at all, but it tastes good.

16 oz can bought from the discount cooler in a local convenience store. Never thought I’d be rating a Mike’s product on here! Pours clear golden with a collapsing white head; leaves a ring of foam. Aroma is basic apple cider with no offnotes or surprises. Taste is sweet, quite tart and even a little savory. Carbonation is average, slick mouthfeel. It’s not all that bad, really.
11.2oz bottle picked up at the state store Danyel (1606) - Colorado, USA - MAR 21, 2014
Pours clear golden with a small white ring, no lacing. Mild aroma of ripe apples. Tastes like apple sauce and cinnamon
Not bad but it tasted like old apples, not crisp fresh ones.
Can. Pours clear orange with little to no white head. Aroma is strong of apple, caramel. Has a dirty taste to it, but a lot of apple still going on, beer backbone. Overall, I think it’s pretty good, not nearly as bad as I expected, to be completely honest. Good. bhensonb (15208) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 27, 2014
Pours gold with a slight white head. Smell of apple skins and a little cooked apple. Med minus body. Flavor is fairly sweet . Nice apple flavors. Just a bit of tart skin hanging around. Quite drinkable. ganache (5905) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 26, 2014
Bottle, screw-top. Nose of apples, sure, but plastic and raw artificiality. Pours dark but clear golden with above-average carbonation and a fizzy, blink-and-you-miss-it head. Sweet, fizzy full body with a little booze warmth, surprisingly heavy, but thankfully free of the feared crushing artificiality and spotted here and there bit bits of pectin and brown sugar. Still too infantilized, but I’m probably game for another. Shag (3001) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - FEB 1, 2014
A golden color with a small white head. Aroma contains apple as you would imagine. Maybe a hint of candy caramel in there too. The flavor contains well apples. This one is a bit on the sweet side but it is definitely refreshing. Overall this is not bad for a random gas station pick up.
