Crafted in the style of a Bohemian Czech Pilsner. It pours a light straw colour and crystal clear. The beautiful fine carbonation quickly forms a dense creamy head that lasts to the last sip. This beer is bursting with fresh zesty aroma, the New Zealand aromatic hops are proudly presented in their full glory. The grisp bitter flavour is complimented by a full malt body and rounded mouth-feel with the most amazing after taste. Serve chilled in a tall pilsner glass to fully appreciate the subtle colour, full aroma and striking head. This is the perfect thirst quencher in the heat of Summer and compliments spicy food well, but at 5% ABV, is a beer that needs to be enjoyed in moderation.

On tap pours golden with white head. Not much aroma. Taste of mashed vegetables including brussel sprouts. Metallic taste with creamy nutty finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark gold colour with a fluffy white head, the aroma is hoppy with plenty of fruit, the taste is medium bitterness and with a dry bitter finish.

Now called Pils-Nah. 330ml bottle BB 20/12/16 Aroma is quite interesting - grassy, floral, fruity and hoppy notes. Poured pale straw with no head. Mild bitterness with a crisp albeit grassy finish. No malt noticed as the label says. Quite a thin body too. A thirst quencher rather than anything complex.

bottle pours very pale yellow with a lasting head & a citrus hoppy aroma, the taste is crisp bitter lightly sweet with tangy citrus hoppy flavours & quite a dry finish

rating from backlog. mild hops, mild malts, altogether this adds up to a very meh pilsner.

As a lager, this is a good beer, but as a pilsner, I found it a tad disappointing. To me, the hops, as nice as they are, overpowered the silky-smooth, delicate malt backbone. I would have liked to appreciate the malt more.

Slight haze on this gold beer. Tidy white head. Light palate, smooth with a crispy trailing edge. Nice creamy malt with a decent level of orange hops. Touch of lemon. A little bitterness in the smooth finish which is also slightly dry. Pretty good Pils - could easily session this.

Good example of a pilsner. Nothing special but good if you want an organic pilsner.

330ml bottle- A decent pilsner, nothing special but very drinkable and refreshing.

On Draft. Aroma: Good floral hop aroma. Less fruity than the Tuatara pilsner. Palate: Light-medium body. Great balance Flavor: Balanced floral hop and malt with a medium level of bittering. Comments: Was informed that this is a more German-styled pilsner relative to other NZ pilsners.
