Unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, deep and dark hops, light alcohol, quit weak aroma ! Initial flavor is heavy sweet and moderate ot heavy bitter, finish falvor is moderae to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long long long duration, loads of leftover sweetness and a very bitter finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft and sticky.
From tap at Ørsted Ølbar. Pours hazy dark orange with a lasting, creamy and white head. Aroma is peachy and grapefruity hops. Sweet, very sweet, malt base. Citrusy, peachy, tangerine and grapefruity flavoured. Goes into a rather brutal bitter and dry hops flavoured finish. Starts way to sweet and ends out of balance bitter. I guess there is a certain point with this brew, but drinkability doesn’t really win while aiming at this. Ungstrup (37581) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 16, 2010
Draft. An unclear dark amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has strong notes of hops, lending it notes of grass, grapefruit, orange peal, and cats piss (in a good way), on a malty back ground. The flavor is sweet with extremely strong notes of hops - bordering on going overboard even for a hophead like me, lending it strong notes of grass, grapefruit, orange peal, peaches, and a bit of cat piss on a malty caramel back ground, leading to a very bitter finish, that reminds on the aftertaste afterafter chewing on hop cones. joergen (28142) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2010

Chriso rock the roof down pre-GBBF tasting. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is bigtime zesty and fruity. Flavour is the same along with some nectar and grass. Doesn’t feel anywhere near 1000 IBU though. Mild notes of alcohol as it gets a bit warmer.
UPDATED: APR 2, 2010 Draught at Bishop’s Arms SoFo, Stockholm. Cloudy amber, rocky head. Powerful sweaty grapefruit aroma. Fairly sweet and richly malty with intense flavours of honey, sweaty hay as well as marzipan and pine needles. Really bitter of course, but the rich body and sweetness balances it. No trace of inkyness - this freak actually works! Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 2, 2010
Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a cloudy and opaque amber with a dense yellowish head leaving massive lacings. Aroma is massively hoppy, intense and juicy with no single hop standing out. Body is quite solid, caramel and overripe fruit again with a massive hop overdose making this somewhat herbal. The bitterness is there indeed, but not as extreme as you would expect. Works excellent as a palate cleanser with fat foods. 020510 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 24, 2012

Cloudy brown beer, frothy off white head. Softish palate. Smooth dark toffee malt, mild. Integrates well with grassy spicy hops. Pineapple and pine too! Finishes dry, slightly bitter aftertaste. 1000 IBU? My arse! But who cares it’s a very nice beer.
Draught at Churchkey. Light hazy brown, medium white head, solid lacing. Aroma of morning dew on fresh meadow grass. And pine. Taste is bitter pine sap. And pine. Interesting.
