GothGargoyle (2585) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 25, 2016
Deep black with a creamy golden brown head and noticeable viscosity. Aroma is treacle, wood, orange blossom, engine oil. Full bodied, viscous mouthfeel, starts lightly sweet but becomes bitter on the palate with a lightly boozy finish and a lingering harsh bitterness. Taste is burnt wood, dark fruits, treacle, roasted malts. A little harsh on the end.
