@ Mikkeller Bar: Lite diskret doft (men glaset är alldeles för kallt) men en stor söt och len smak av kaffe. Mycket fin och lång eftersmak, gyllenbock (9096) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2012

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade 8BC, kld., DK-1655 Copenhagen, Denmark.
Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate, coffee, wood, vanilla, alcohol. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet alcohol, initial quit boozy, sweet molasses - malt - sugar - syrup, wood, chocolate. Body is medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic.
So what IS the secret behind imp stouts brewed at de molen? They are so fing delicious. Dark thick brown look, no head. Chocolate and caramel aroma, it wasnt too intense, or i just didnt sniff it right, but the flavor is what its all about. Thick caramel fudge (de molen style) roasted chocolate, very noticeable dry ashy feeling to mix it up. Almost no carbonation, so its more chewy than thirst quinching. On tap at MikkellerBar, thanks for sharing Theis! Black colour, brown head. Aroma is sweet, bourbon, hard roasted malts, chocolate, light vanilla, berries, really nice. Flavour is rather sweet, but balanced, with hard roasted malts, berries, vanilla, oak, chocolate, hops. Fullbodied. Great beer, even my gf liked it, that says a lot.

Black color, with thin brownish head. Aroma of roasted malts and dark chocolate, nice coffee too; very nice. Strong body, with a round mouthfeel; there is a very powerful flavor of dark chocolate and roasted malt, with a good sweetness level; the alcohol and bitterness are a correct complement to this; more powerful than complex. Excellent.
