faroeviking (11263) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - OCT 10, 2011
Black colour, short head. Rather sweet roasty dark fruity alco aroma. Sticky mouthfeel. Flavour is quite sweet, siruppy, with roaste dmalt, dark fruits, alcohol and liqourice. Too sweet for my liking.

allmyvinyl (11077) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 12, 2014
330ml bottle shared with jeevan. Memory bank rate. Pours jet black with thin tan head. Aromas of roast coffee and liquorice, light smokey note. Taste has more of the same, quite sweet, but balances out well. Rich and full-bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Nice.

JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - SEP 28, 2011
Huge, dark greige head, very slowly lowering over brownish-black beer. Sweetish & very roasted nose, coffeesweets, chocolate, cacaopowder. Warming up, some dry hoparomas waft up. Again very roasted, touches of mint - After Eight? ; roasted, meaty, chocolate flavours vie for domination. Very thick, viscously bodied, quite carbonated too, obviously. Aftertaste has some hot feel, as from chili peppers. Good, decent Imperial Stout.

gyllenbock (9992) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 23, 2012

Black with a small tan head. What a suprise this one. Much tastier than expected. Vinous and complex with a lot of things going on both in the aroma and taste. I need another bottle. Once again an excellent Imperial Stout from Mikkeller.

Skinnyviking (9731) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2011
Bottle. Low but lasting brown creamy head. Pitch black body. Powerful alcohol dominated choccolate aroma. Smooth and pleasant choccolate flavor with some hops bitterness but not too much of a good thing. Low carbonation. Long bitter aftertaste.

Plovmand (8635) - Grindsted, DENMARK - OCT 20, 2011
Bottle. Jet black body with a small bubbly tan head. The aroma is tar, hard roasted malt, sweet peaty, ash, sugary sweet and quite overwhelming. The flavour is rather sweet with notes of peat, ashes, tobacco, sweet hard toasted malt and some chocolate. Hard roasted finish with some hoppy notes. Very low carbonation.

330 ml bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen.

Pours a pitch black colour with an oily texture and no head. Aroma of sweet roasted malts and brown sugar. Flavour of roasted malts, coffee, vanilla, bitter hops and chocolate. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel with a long, warming, rich finish of chocolate and roasted malts. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Dessert.
