Bortled. Black as tar. No head or carbonation. Heavy roasted coffee bouquet. Sweet-bitter finish and very balanced. Strong good brew. Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - NOV 26, 2011
Black at the glass. Head should maybe be some bigger but ok. Roasted malts, coffee hops, the sweetness is there but not to overwhelming. Misses a bit of body. Light earthy biterness... Dazz3 (1799) - Hallsberg, SWEDEN - SEP 19, 2011
5/5 in darkness. Smells smokey and barry. Tastes chocolate smokey, barry and abit soy with a smokey sweet and creamy finish.

Poured into my Budvar tankard. Aggressive pour. Head is gorgeous to start off with but immediately diminishes. Aroma is very woody and chocolaty as well as peaty and boozy. The flavour is chocolate; chocolate raisins; smoke; peat; oak; espresso; cream and leather. Some nice treacle and motor oil.
A very nice imperial stout but a little rough on the mouth-feel. gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - APR 10, 2012
33 cl bottle - pours blacker than black and leaves a light brown creamy head (1 finger). Nose is roasted malt, coffee, some soy sauce and a hint of green paprica. Medium to full body with light carbonation, sweetness all over and dry finish with bitterness kicking in at that point (also some alcohol glowth and something spicy). fletchfighters (1623) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 12, 2014
330 ML bottle thanks to Papsoe
black pour with some hints of ruby. No head at all. Thick and syrupy legs. Shows no carbonation.
Nose is quite sweet. Lots of milk chocolate, molasses, candied char, candied ash, and candied rubber tires. Somewhat port like as well.
Taste is very sweet. see above notes and pretty accurate. Booze is well restrained for the size. Sweet, slick and little carbonation. Has held up well
