Bottle from Blackrock cellar. Pours golden with excellent clarity. White foam head. Looks good. Grapefruit, resinous, citrus, mango aroma. Sweet light biscuit sweetness with grapefruit bitter finish. Oily slick resinous mouthfeel. Good body for light colouring and full of flavour. Really nice balanced IPA

Bottle from Mikkeller Beer Club. Nice fresh hoppy aroma. Very well balanced bitterness and a nice contribution of the oat flakes to the taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Vili (245) - FINLAND - JUL 16, 2015
33cl bottle. Cloudy golden pour with thick white head, average lacing. Strong aroma of citrus, ripe fruit and stale bread. Taste is like a ninja - stealthy weak at first, but the brutal force of the hops will kill you. Dry to the bone, but somehow balanced. Medium carbonation and nice, mellow palate. Aftertaste is also comfortable and pleasant like a Jewish neighbor. I like this, even though the hops are bit too aggressive and this lacks a certain balance.

Great afternoon IPA, well balanced. I like it really much for its drinkability and for its soft, but nonetheless great, bitter. The prototype of West Coast IPA.
