(Bottle) Pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is rich hoppy with tones of juicy pink grapefruit, passion fruit, frozen strawberries, juicy apricot and pine. The malt profile is clean and slim with tones of fresh white bread. The flavour is light sweet/dry, medium biter and light acidic. Grapefruit and pine up front alongside undertones of strawberries and white bread. Maybe a burned whisper of ashtray. The mouthfeel is crisp yet quite round. This beer is super clean (almost perfect) my only problem with this beer is the burned hints. Slim malt and clean citric hops on the finish. Light to medium bodied. Sometimes I think less of Mikkeller - overly sweet Imp Stouts and mega bitter Pale Ales is not my vision of balance. Nonetheless, this is ass kicking!

Hazy light amber color; thin creamy head. Powerful hop aroma, extremely fruity: orange, tangerine, passion fruit. Dry mouthfeel, dry malt flavor, with traces of crispness, but also yeast; surprisingly there is a pleasant smoke touch; soft resins and citrus fruits oils, a reminder of fruits too. The final is too bitter, without backbone, a bit astringent and yeasty.
Pleasant, but also too dry and yeasty.

Deep blond color. It has a nice sweaty and fruity aroma (grapefruit and passion fruit). Dry toffee flavor, strong bitterness, maybe harsh. Enjoyable.

It’s warm golden with a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma is very aromatic with notes of citrus, peach, kiwi and very light malt. The flavor has a light sweetness and an incredible, crisp freshness and notes of citrus, melon, peach, kiwi and very little malt. It’s a wonderful pilsner, lots and lots of flavor in few %.

Svesse (9313) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 12, 2009
(Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm, 8 Dec 2009) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrussy hops, orange and grainy malt. Fruity, hoppy taste with grainy malt, orange, mandarin and a generous grapefruity, piney hop bitterness in a dry, well balanced finish. Medium body, dry. Brilliantly balanced. Very nice and tasty lager with a refreshing hop character and dryness.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Borefts 10am day after hotel tasting.
Clean darkish gold with a lasting white head. Big citric and tropical hoppage all round. Hardly any malt to detect. But it’s not a problem. Excellent dry bitter finish with some late spice. A really good pilsener.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 5, 2009
Dark yellow colored with cloudy appearance, medium sized white head. Rich floral hopped aroma with interesting fruitiness, some pine-licorice also comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor is even more flowery in start with same exotic fruitiness, thin pine also comes up. Somehow watery aftertaste with drying note.

bierkoning (14026) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 1, 2009
Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Golden color with a steady head. Grapefruit, soft but oily hops and red berries in the aroma. A lovely smell of Amercian hops. Firm hopbitter flavor, earthy and oily with red berries, lingering on for a while in the aftertaste. Thinnish but pleasant. yeasty aftertaste.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2009 Bottled at Örebro Öl- och Whiskeyfestival. Hazy deep golden. Sweaty rich hoppy nose, Salty ansd slim, dry with grainy malt and clean mouthfeel. Good late bitterness. A streamlined, clean hoppy beer that is hugely refreshing. I love this type of fairly light well hopped drinkable beers!

olsvammel (7393) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 24, 2009
A hopped up lager that was really nice. Smells and taste of fruity hops, peaches and passion fruit. I could definitely imagine drinking more of this and I don’t say that very often about lagers.

saxo (20113) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2009
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich and bitter hops, flowers and malt. Light fruity with a long bitter finish.
