Draught at Mikkeller Bangkok. Hazy yellow colour with a small white head. The aroma is malty, vinous, wooden. The flavour is sweet with malt, fruity, finishing bitter and actually somewhat shallow. I don’t know, it’s not really doing it for me. deanso (10141) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - JAN 18, 2015

Draft at Edmunds Oast. Definitely similar to other versions but this one comes off as much sweeter, more malts character and denser dark fruit flavor with more relaxed carbonation. ansalon (3867) - Stockholm, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - AUG 30, 2014

Draft at Max’s. Pours hazy tawny copper with a thin, fizzy white head. Tastes like dry red wine, cracker malt, old grapes, and grapefruit. Light.body and low carbonation. Smells musky, earthy, and like old red grapes. solidfunk (8965) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUL 10, 2014
Wow, Grand Marnier version is far superior to this. Not sure why they are making so many version of this random beer and not sure why I bought another one. Tastes more like barrel, less like beer than the GM version. Light hay, light bitter finish. I wouldn’t bother with this one. Tap at Max’s.
