cyano22 (26) - SOUTH KOREA - MAR 9, 2016
Dark amber body with plenty of caramel beige head. The head is retained fairly well and leaves a good amount of lacing. In terms of the aroma, I do get Brett? Overall, it’s musty, earthy in a good way. I get pear, peach, apricot and orange. Also honey and toffee-like smell from the malts.Taste is also brett-dominant. Other taste notes follows the nose with lots of earthy and musty fruitiness. Pineapples and pears are fairly forward. Spring-like quaity for me. Medium-body with a farily dry mouthfeel, which was nice. Spritzy carbonation too.

Small glass draught at Mikkeller Bar Viktoriagade. Amber coloured body with a slight haze. Diminishing pearl white head. Decent lacing. Rich smell of brown malts and dried fruits. Mixed taste profile of raisin, caramel, and a backdrop of tart fruit. Drying ending with a twist of the tart fruit. Refreshing (Copenhagen 01.05.2015).

A little more boring than the others but not as bad as the sauternes version. Watery finish here. Orange pour with some hay. Ok head and lacing. Tap at Max’s.
