Intensiver, sehr süßer Malzantrunk. Spritig, die Süße ist etwas zu stark. Vollmundig, mit der Zeit süffiger, zum Ende alkoholisch. Okay, zu süß. 10/9/11/10/9/12

Bottle split at CBC Islo during my 40th birthday shitshoot, from an IP trade with Christian, 11/10/14. Black with a well appointed dirty tan covering. Nose is bitter roast, light charr, spice, earthy cocoa rubs, dark malt. Taste comprises rich chocolate tones, oaky wood pangs, dark fruit notes, spice, charr, roast malt. Full bodied, oily feel smooth and caressing, lightly warming alcohol in the close. Decent impy - has held up very well!

Scopey (15704) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2014
Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours near black with a small beige head. The nose is rich, roasty, dirt, earth, ash, vanilla, ash and general filth. The taste is smooth, rich, roasty, cocoa, earth, dirt, ash, vanilla, bourbon and booze with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rich and filthy. Crazy. Good depth.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to the birthday boy. Pours heavy black with a bubbly-frothy tan head. Big charred malt nose, deep cocoa, scorched earth. Strong sweetness with well toasted bread, syrupy chocolate, raisins, figs, smoke, char, burnt earth, wood. Full bodied with fine carbonation, chewy, viscous. Warming finish with lots more charred malts, burnt toffee, rich chocolate, dark fruits. Has aged incredibly well. Wonderful depth and drinkability too. Outstanding.
