25cl bottle @ Olbutikken, CPH. Pours unclear brown with a small creamy head. Nose is heavy of peat smoke, brown sugar, honey & caramel. Flavour is sweet (like the nose) and have notes of oak, smoke, alcohol, honey, sugar & caramel. Medium, smooth & sticky´palate. Well made "smoked"! Still miles away from being my favorite style! Shared with "stepdad" without beerbikers knowledge. Hazy brown look with a dense baige head. Lots of oak in the aroma along with medium smoke notes, caramel and roasted malt. The smoke is much heavier in the flavor, great. Burned wood, tar tobacco and so on. Extemly nice flavor right there. Wish more were avalible! Grovlam (4252) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2008
25 cl bottle. Thanks to my brother for sharing. Small creamy off-white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Muddy dark brown color. Aroma of heavy oak, subtle smoke notes. Quite complex for a smoked beer with notes of wood, floral, sweet fruit, mild smoke bacon, rye bread, dried fruit. Full bodied with a soft carbonation and dry alcoholic thick texture. Heavy sweet flavor with good counter bitterness. Lingering wood, smoke and alcoholic finish. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - NOV 16, 2008
It’s hazy red-brown with a small dense head. The aroma has notes of smoke, roasted malt, sweetness, raisin, caramel and slightly fruity hops. The flavour has sweetness, but not too strong, and notes of smoke, roasted malt, caramel, oak, tannic-acid and the finish is very long. It’s a very, very nice smoked beer. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - NOV 2, 2008
250. Thanks, Thewolf! Pours murky caramel amber. Light tan rim. Big sweet smoky bacon and campfire nose. Creamy, thick, decadently sweet body. Hugely goopy. Smoky bacon and caramel mid-palate. Long dryish smoky finish.

Strong ashtray aroma. Campfire, made of slightly wet wood, menthol cigarettes. Weird - as expected. gnoff (10713) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 19, 2008

Shady dark reddish brown color, nice tan to teal head. Smoke, fruity, a bit acidic scent. I’d like it more concentrated on the smoke. Salty, acidic, ashtray, smoke taste. Smoke aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
Bottle (25 cl) from Ölbutikken. Murky reddish brown, creamy off-white head. Murky reddish brown with creamy off-white head. Heavy smoke aroma with notes of bon fire remains, and ash tray. Sweet, sugary and harsh. Not good. cgarvieuk (25391) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 18, 2008

(Bottled) Hazy dark ruby with a very small head. Strongly smoky aroma with peaty malt, and some whisky-like alcohol. Very intense smoked-peaty-tarry-malty, salty flavor with some caramel syrup. Alcohol is well hidden, but burns in the aftertaste. Doesn’t change much with yeast. Almost full-bodied, liqueur-like palate with low carbonation. An extreme beer with huge amounts of salty-peaty-tarry smokiness - yet surprisingly pleasant and drinkable. The bottle size of 0.25l is well planned ahead, though...
