Black, no head. Lots of peat and whisky in the aroma. Alcohol in the aroma w coffee. Taste is very roasted with lots of coffee and chocolate. lots of wood. Some roasted burnt flavors in the finish with some nuts. Overall pretty dry. Very good but not as good as the original.

Oczy to nalalo sie bez piany
Nosek to ziarno kawy, z duża ilością whisky, drewna
Usta to srednie ciało, wytrawne, bardzo nisko wysycone
Podniebienie to posmak kwaśnej kawy, deski drewnianej, mocnego alkoholu z kawa, bardzo palony
Głowa mówi ze pomimo tego ze nie ma mało ciała i jest dosyć złożone to ma sie wrażenie pustki, ogolnie spoko nie czuć żeby sie złe zestarzało, bardzo podoba mi sie tu aromat beczki, duzo drewna z mocnym alko, za to kawy mniej bo bardzo palony

Bottled. Pours deep brown nearly black and an average a creamy, tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, chocolate, licorice, vanilla, peat and whiskey. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry, with alcohol and slightly bitter. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. An excellent Stout. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This spent some time in the basement. Pours deep brown without head. A tad watery, some smoke and coffee in the secondary. Ok drinkability. I note this was brewed in March 2009.

Bottle. Speyside Edition - Cask Edition. 3 1/2 month on Scotch Speyside Whiskey Barrel. Carb labelled as low. Pours a dark inky black/brown with a minimal, i mean minimal, mocha tan head. Head is more just some bubbles hanging out on the side of the glass. Roast, dark chocolate, whiskey notes in the nose. Medium mouthfeel. Roast, leather, dark chocolate bitterness. [My bottle (500ml) shared with HogTownHarry, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o Glouglouburp. Batch No 412, 17.03.09] Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a small bubbly semi-lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, oak, smoke and some sweetness -- barrel-aging is subtle which I appreciate. Flavour follows the aroma but is milder and slightly watery. Average bodied. Great aroma and really good flavour.
