I got this bottle in a trade with leftmindedrighty. Thanks Aaron!
It's breakfast time ! lol
It purs from 22.3 oz bottle an extremely dark brown with a nice 2 finger head of tannish foam that hardly shrinks during the session and leaves a lot of nice lacing.
The smell is of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, and caramel malt and at times, dark fruit and they started to hit my nose the second the cap was popped.
The taste is very nice. Notes of coffee and roasted malt along with nice dark chocolate and man, it has a great mouthfeel to it. The finish is a dark chocolate bitterness that lingers on well after the swallow and the alcohol s very well hidden. As I take more sips, I begin to notice that the roasted malt takes on more of a burnt malt flavour and that works out just fine for me...err..the strange thing is, each sip I take seems to be slightly different from the previous sip; it's almost like the flavours are on rotation. That said, this is one tasty and drinkable son of a gun and I'm very pleased that I got a chance to try it!

Bottle. Aroma: coffee, more like espresso, bit roasted. Maybe bit choclate in background. Taste: coffee, coffee, coffee. A bit dried fruits, and vanilla. Light body, a bit watery. Too strong carbonation. xavras (62) - - OCT 30, 2017

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2017 W aromacie kawa, kawa i jeszcze raz kawa, palone słody. W smaku wytrawne, dość kwaśne. Słodycz przebija się pod koniec. Finisz krótki. Całkiem treściwe, ale mało ciała. Średnio pijalne. Nie ma tragedii, ale nie spełniło oczekiwań. colui72 (1101) - HONG KONG - OCT 25, 2017
Pours pitch black with a medium-small tan head, some lacing. Aroma is strong coffee and roasted oat malts. Taste is strong on coffee too, roasted oat malts, burnt caramel, cocoa nibs, a bit tart with a very bitter finish, totally sugarless. Enjoyable if you like coffee and you don’t mind a strongly bitter stout. I don’t. Good stout, very rich, full bodied and very smooth. angoradad (15) - USA - OCT 16, 2017
Pours thick and dark. Aroma is immediately of coffee and cocoa. Initial mouthfeel is chocolate that quickly fades to bitter coffee. Flavor carries through the aftertaste. An excellent breakfast stout that instantly demonstrates quality. NORSAND (115) - Lillestrøm, NORWAY - OCT 13, 2017
Deep, dark reddish brown colour with moderate, dark beige head.
Nose: Dark raw chocolate, sweet raw tobbaco, sweet espresso coffee beans, oily oats. Lovely.
Taste: The arrival is smooth, mild, with a hint of sweetness, gradually drying up and opening up more and more of a rich and fairly dry coffee taste with heavily roasted coffee beans (French/Italian roast). Medium creaminess. The body is quite rich but it’s not the richest or fullest Imperial Stout around. Well balanced though.
The dryness makes this more of a breakfast / morning drink than dessert / after dinner / evening drink. Perhaps with some medium hard, rich yellow cheeses?
