Pours thick and dark. Aroma is immediately of coffee and cocoa. Initial mouthfeel is chocolate that quickly fades to bitter coffee. Flavor carries through the aftertaste. An excellent breakfast stout that instantly demonstrates quality. NORSAND (109) - Lillestrøm, NORWAY - OCT 13, 2017
Deep, dark reddish brown colour with moderate, dark beige head.
Nose: Dark raw chocolate, sweet raw tobbaco, sweet espresso coffee beans, oily oats. Lovely.
Taste: The arrival is smooth, mild, with a hint of sweetness, gradually drying up and opening up more and more of a rich and fairly dry coffee taste with heavily roasted coffee beans (French/Italian roast). Medium creaminess. The body is quite rich but it’s not the richest or fullest Imperial Stout around. Well balanced though.
The dryness makes this more of a breakfast / morning drink than dessert / after dinner / evening drink. Perhaps with some medium hard, rich yellow cheeses? Daboch (113) - Gdansk, POLAND - OCT 8, 2017
Czarnobrunatne, nieprzezroczyste piwo z niewielką pianą. Aromat jak w rzymskiej kawiarni. W smaku kawa, nuty palone trochę słodyczy. Super zabalansowane, bardzo dobry stout
