COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nogle mener endda, at kaffen ger sexlysten!
En Imperial Oatmeal Stout brygget p: vand, malt, humle, gr og vietnamesisk ca phe chon kaffe.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2014 Pours pitch black with low deep tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, molasses, dried fruit, muscovado and some form of barrels (not necessarily calvados). Taste is amazing! Big, sweet, vanilla, milk chocolate and probably calvados or cognac barrel notes, followed by just the right amount of coffee bitter to balance out the finish. Body is rich and creamy with low carbonation. This is an amazing beer!

Bottle shared at Mikkeller Bar. Pours a this pitch black beer with a very small beige ring of head on top. Aroma is marvelous, loads of apple, booze, ripe pear, cinnamon, oak and raisins. Flavor is incredibly sweet, loads of alcohol, red fruits, molasses, licorice in the back. Amazing well balanced, smooth drinkable, yet intense. Amazing brew.

Bottle pours black almost flat, aroma is big wood, alcohol, and warm dark fruits. Taste is intense coffee and roast up front that quickly moves to big booze and wood with a light alcohol finish. Not worth it for me

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of coffee, licorice, dried fruit, wood, tomato paste, vanilla, toffee and soy. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of licorice, toffee, raw sugar, wood, soy, vanilla and coffee. Full bodied with low carbonation. Great.

Really good beer. I had been saving this for a couple of years and finally had an occasion to give it a try. Poured pitch black, with boozy/smokey/roasty/woodsy notes. Flavor was similar to the aroma profile. Nice and dry, nice booze, warming at the end.

Bottle 25 cl. Pours a thick, pitch black with very little head. Very low in carbonation. This pours an almost syrupy viscous. Lovely mellow wooden, oxidized aroma blending in perfectly with sweet vanillaish roast and a subtle coffee note. Ends warming but never boozy. A lovely sipper. 030414

I really do love apple brandy stouts. Why does this work so well?? Rich roasty, nutty, oaky, brandy, chocolate, dark fruits, raisin. So smooth and velvety.
