COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nogle mener endda, at kaffen ger sexlysten!
En Imperial Oatmeal Stout brygget p: vand, malt, humle, gr og vietnamesisk ca phe chon kaffe.

Solid black with a small chocolate head. Aroma is liquorice, coffee, molasses, blackcurrant, chocolate, dried dark fruits, baked apple. Velvety mouthfeel, sweet on the palate with some fruity booziness on the finish. Taste is brandy, dark chocolate, coffee, liquorice, touch of oak. So good.

Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Viscous smooth palate, a little dry. Rich malt - chocolate and a little coffee. Aniseed alcohol with subtle apple liquer on the spicy finish. The aftertaste is slightly smoky malt. A robust strong beer, could possibly do with more time but pretty good now!

250 ml bottle. Black thick pour with a slight bit of head. The smell is fantastic, roasted coffee, vanilla, oak, booze. The taste is surprisingly hot at first, the brandy hits mid sip, thick boozey, slighty sour with bits of oak, finishes with thick coffee flavour and some heat from the booze. Lovely

Rating #1000. #100th Imperial Stout rating. Boom. Aroma is light but deep and rich. Nutty. Flavor has quite a bit going on. Fairly acidic, but its a smoother acidity. Lot o coffee. Great palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled. Poured fairly deep brown with a spotty dusting of dark tan head. The aroma picked up burnt coffee, licorice, and toasted barley with very slight peppery Brandy accents.. really didnt get much of the barrel (but I really enjoy the base beer). The flavor found very roasty, very tasty coffee throughout, accompanied by greener coffee bean acidity, peppery notes, and a hint of apple skin from the barrel.. very dry oak played well with the coffee on the long, bitter, roasty, belly-warming finish. Heavier-bodied with a smooth, syrupy feel on the middle of the palate.. a bit too much roast and bitterness at other times.. overall a decent flow and a solid beer, but not my favorite treatment.

Bottle @ Port Street Beer House, was pretty expensive, 18 pounds if i remember correctly, but i wanted to treat myself the night before my 1st game at Old Trafford (come on united!!) .. . . pours a deep black .. solid foam .. . coffee and apple brandy .. light heat, some tar in the finish too .. . quite the experience, i enjoyed it .. . . . People are so selfish these days. Not a single person in this homeless shelter will loan me their toothbrush...
