Nogle mener endda, at kaffen øger sexlysten!

Black with a low head. Notes of coffee, liquorice, roasted malts and alcohol in the aroma. The flavour starts out nicely balanced but settles on a very alcohol-driven note - completely dominated by the calvados-flavours. I would have prefered a subtle hint from the barrel aging. Instead it tastes like calvados that have been aged on beer barrels ... Perhaps, I’m a bit too harsh, but it was just so disapointing. Especially considering that the normal edition of the Weasal is superb.

Bottle at Mikkeller and Friends, Copenhagen, shared with Marius. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken light tan head. The aroma is dry roasty malt, calvados alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich slightly oily roasty liqourice alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation.

mariuspoenari (2954) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAY 9, 2017
Bottle shared at Mikkeller & Friends. Pitch black pour with a tan head. Notes of espresso, roasted malts, roasted coffee, cocoa, some kind of vineous liquor barrel. Full body, light carbonation and roasty bitter finish.

Intensiver malziger Beginn mit schokoladigen, leicht alkoholischen Noten. Hintergründig erstaunlicherweise etwas wässrig, etwas Espresso, relativ trocken. Monoton wirkend, langer, trocken schokoladiger Nachhall. 9/11/11/11/10/11

Tap @mikkeller Aarhus. Pours black with an espresso brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate, weak smoke, espresso, vanilla, tobacco, caramel and roasted malts. Also some wooden tannin notes. The taste is dark and concentrated. With lots of coffee and roasted malts. Also some tobacco, smoke, dark bitter toffee and tannins. Good and intense stout!

Really one to enjoy while nipping. Good mixture with the malts and slightly the booze getting trough. Enjoyed.
