UPDATED: FEB 15, 2018 Pivo u flaši. Aroma prženog ječma i malo vanilije.

GoufCustom (2311) - HONG KONG - JAN 14, 2018

330ml bottle bought at Gorgeous Wine & Cigar in Yuen Long.

Looks: Opaque deep Cola blackish brown colour with a thin ring of yeast sediments; Less than one-quarter finger head with residual soapy beige foam which fades in 10 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with zero carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant and sweet dark malt, with strong roastyness, strong chocolate, strong vanilla, sweet caramel, sticky toffee, strong alcohol, perfume, cream, coffee, floral, heavy sugar, liquorices, bread, light lemon and light grass.

Taste: Strong sweet dark malt, with strong roastyness, strong cocoa, strong dark chocolate, hot chocolate, strong burnt toast, caramel, toffee, milked coffee, vanilla, floral, strong molasses, strong alcohol, strong liquorices, spices, earth, dry biscuits, yeast, strong lemon, strong bitter hops and grass. Very complex!

Body: Full body; Very oily palate.

Mouth Feel: Strong dark maltyness in a very viscous background, like an engine oil. A burst of multi-layered taste - fresh cocoa power, rich dark chocolate, hot chocolate and then burnt toast - come thick and fast with vanilla, caramel and toffee. Flowery with nice strong molasses, spicy earthy hops with dry biscuit and lemon to round. This is a beauty!

Alcohol: the 11% abv is strong and in-your-nose, but unlike the Beer Geek Weasel, it was well integrated into the cocoa layers that it help enhance the dessert side of things. Icy, creamy, and shy, that's the impression. Fair knock ons which is well compensated by the rich caramel maltyness. Perfect!

Hoppiness: Floral, light lemon and light grass in nose, same in taste but stronger and with spices and earth; Bitterness - hops and burnt malt - is strong for a lasting, high astringent bitter-sweet roasty malty finish.

After Taste: Dry. Chocolatey caramel and bitter to mouth.

Comments: This is another shining example from the Beer Geek series - perfumey roasty cocoa aroma, sophisticated chocolate and burnt malt taste, excellent booze, and a strong, finely balanced sweet and bitterness. A truly amazing liquid dessert. A must try and highly recommended!

Butelka. Najbardziej waniliowe piwko jakie pilem. To jest najbardziej deserowe piwo świata. Bardzo słodkie, ale jest kontra goryczkowa. Jest też lekko kwaskowe. Smakowało mi bardziej niż jakiekolwiek omnipollo.

Sampled at SBWF 2017. No head. Clear dark brown color. Sweet milk stout and chocolate vanilla aroma. The taste is a litle like rubber and mild chocolate and roasted coffee taste ( I don't drink and like coffee). Full body.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2017 My treacherous faces-Pours pitch black and thick with a big brown creamy head. Aroma of chocolate, lots of roast, some lemony hop notes, not much vanilla here. Flavor follows with big rich chocolate and vanilla, finishing with some roast and leaving a strange vanilla lemon peel aftertaste. Nice rich body with adequate carbonation, slightly dry finish. Overall this is solid, but the hops used here don’t seem to mesh right. My kitty tasted better than me?

Bottle shared with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran. Thanks! Tasting session in the summer of 2017. Black, small tan head. Roasty, vanilla and cocoa. Dry and very roasty. Full body, sticky, moderate carbonation, very smooth finish with alcohol presence. Wow!
