COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the beer geek breakfast series – the beer that really put Mikkeller on the map, we decided to shake things up by adding a truck load of vanilla to the french press coffee trick, creating a whole new dimension to the beer that are loved by freaks and geeks worldwide. Not only that, we then placed it in bourbon barrels for 8 months for a truly unique beer experience. It’s dark, dangerous, sweet and incredibly tasty as you would expect, but most of all; it’s ready to conquer your breakfast table routines. Please note: The label is the same as the regular version. This one comes with a limited edition yellow wax.

Draft sample at Holy Grale. The beer is a near black with a khaki head of foam. Sweet toffee and caramel with milk chocolate in the aroma. Bit of cheesecake. Very rich and decadent. Big body and moderate carbonation. Delicious.

Nieoczywiste, nosi dużo cech jakiegoś nieszablonowego barley wine'a i dobrego old ale'a BA. Zdecydowanie must try, chociażby, żeby wyrobić sobie zdanie.

Vanilla and sweet coffee. Loved the regular one but BA is the class higher.

Thanks Ryan for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing coffee brown with thin translucent rims and no head. The nose shows a strong bourbon background with an equally intense vanilla forwardness piercing throughout. The palate is oily and lightly carbonated. Moderately sweet with a light bourbon background, vanilla forward perfectly mixed between flavors of bourbon and caramel. More sweetness and light bourbon throughout the finish.

Bottle @home, (Clear out the cellar evening). Pours Black, tan head. Nose is huge vanilla, chocolate, toffee and caramel, marshmallows, more vanilla. Taste is huge vanilla, very much like the nose.

Mimo wszystko genialne.

Sampled form the bottle Appearance: black opaque Smell: vanilla, vanilla, vanilla, some cake notes and something like vanilla fromage frais Taste: liquid chocolate plus a lot of VANILLA The beer is rather aggressive with its vanilla aroma and taste.
